Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

TitleRun.gg (“TitleRun”, “we”) is an independent, fan-built sports game. This policy explains what we collect and why. There are no user accounts, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

  • A local identity (in your browser). When you play, we generate a random, anonymous id and store it in your browser’s localStorage, along with an optional display name and your recent result links (key titlerun.profile.v1). It contains no real-world identity unless you type a display name. Clear your browser’s site data to remove it.
  • Display name (optional, public). If you enter a name when posting a run, it is shown publicly on the leaderboard and your result’s share page. Names are length-limited and profanity-filtered. Don’t enter personal information you don’t want public.
  • Your runs. Rosters you simulate and their results (record, grades, archetype, mode/difficulty) are stored so each result has a shareable page and can appear on the leaderboard.
  • First-party usage analytics. We record basic product events (page views, button clicks, draft/simulate/share actions) tied to the anonymous local id above, plus the page path. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks.
  • IP address (transient, abuse-prevention only). Your IP is used to rate-limit requests so the game can’t be flooded. It is held only as a short-lived counter and is not attached to your runs or analytics.

We do not collect accounts or passwords, payment information, precise location, or contact details (we never ask for an email).

Cookies

The app does not set cookies. The local identity lives in localStorage, not a cookie. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly-necessary cookies for security and bot-management.

How we use it

To run the game (drafting, simulating, sharing, leaderboards), prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Retention

Local data stays in your browser until you clear it. Submitted runs, their result pages, and any display name persist until you ask us to remove them, so shared links keep working. First-party analytics events are kept for up to 24 months. The IP-based rate-limit counter is stored only for the length of its short window (about a minute) and is then deleted.

Your choices

  • Leave the display name blank to stay anonymous on the leaderboard.
  • Clear your browser’s site data to remove the local identity and recent runs.
  • Email [email protected] to ask us to remove a submitted run or display name.

Children

TitleRun is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information (such as a display name), email [email protected] and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the latest version.
